I would like to say something about this world we live in. We could add to the hate or the cutting down of ones good works, our we could be thankful for what God provides. I for one am very thankful for these works that have been offered to us home educator. These curriculums couldn't have been easy to put together. But nevertheless they are doing God's work (teaching the children about God). So I say, keep up the Holy works of God and may he bless you richly for them.

I found the format of the Lifepac grade 1 Bible series to be very good. The teacher manual was user-friendly and the 10 Lifepac booklets were very appealing to my child. She is artistic and the additional activitiy sheets provided in the teacher's manual were most motivating to her as were the drawing pages within the Lifepacs. She enjoyed the variety of activities incorporated within the Lifepac for they required and reinforced skills need or used in other subject areas, such as, Reading, Language, and Handwriting. The series is a little weighty on writing but modifications can be made by allowing the child to circle the answer instead of writing out the answer. Over all, I was generally pleased and so was my child. These are the essentials that matter to motivate both instructor and child.

We are enjoying the Grade 1 Bible Lifepacs. The teacher's manual is user-friendly. My son especially enjoys using the extra worksheets that often have artistic appeal. You need a photocopier to use them, though. It's easy to use. I think these are a little basic for a first grader though. I use them with my kindergartener, and even with the extra discussions in the TM, I don't think my son has learned one single new thing in 3 Lifepacs. We have enjoyed the discussions nonetheless, and I like knowing I am covering all my bases. If you like to "cover your bases" then these are a pretty good option, especially if your child doesn't already know all his or her Bible stories and days of Creation.
