This book should be read by everyone. It gives a realistic view of our military lives and the family left to wait and pray. If your spouse or child is a policeman, when they come home at least they can relax a little. If you are a parent or spouse of a soldier, you can never relax. You have that constant fear 24 hours a day. Add to that having a loved one MIA and the heartache becomes worse. You never know if that loved one is dead, alive, captured, tortured or hurt. I loved how James knew from early in hislife what he wanted to be. I loved his letters. I did weep a few times. I do wish the book would have flowed a little more. I also felt it jumped around a little. I am giving it 5 stars for what the book is about.
