My husband and I usually purchase our children bibles for their 7th birthday. We have two daughters who received their study bibles from this site and now they are 13 and 14. Our youngest turned 7 years old January 4, 2017 and his father passed away December 24, 2016. Our son received the bible two hours before my husband died on Saturday, December 24th. We rejoiced together because he read from his bible in his father's presence before he passed away. We purchased our bibles through Christianbook.com because the books are great for little children as it has maps, dictionary and some commentary to help them understand while they study on their own. We don't keep Christmas so it was no sad moment because of the holiday but because our son's 7th birthday was coming up. We also know that as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, my husband, their father is not in heaven but in the grave and will be raised up at the last day to meet the Lord in the air because he died with the hope of the resurrection. We comfort one another with these words from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

We like this Bible. Our Ladies Circle purchase these to give out when we help a young person in need, or have the opportunity to give a young person a Bible. Some great things about this Bible is it gives an overview of each book of the Bible at the beginning . Has a Bible people through out the Bible , which gives you an short summary of a person. It also has the Hide it in you heart verses. Jesus words are in red. Also has a Bible dictionary. We use this for ages 8 -12 or 13. Great Bible.

Perfect for new learners!

I bought the KJV Kids study bible for my 9 year old grandson. I had his name engraved on the front and he Loved it!...every night he makes sure he reads it, which is all I wanted...I love this bible and all the extra guides that are included for young readers!...I should have gotten one for myself!!!

I am so very pleased with this Bible. My kids have each owned a soft cover one since 2009. They have held up well and most importantly, I love the blue print and the font and the thickness of the pages. The print is so very easy to ready and it is easy to find books and verses as well. I think all Bibles should be printed so as to be easy to read. So many use an awkward font that is difficult to read. I would like to have one in NKJV.
