L.T.Gandee5 Stars Out Of 5February 13, 2010L.T.Gandeei love it! it's a serious piece of history every Christian should have. very hard to find these anywhere at a decent price. it is a very attractive bible to have on your shelf, but even more attractive when you open it and read it. it reads exactly like the current king james version we are so used to, but some of the spelling is... interesting to say the least. it has a nice bible translation into english history that ends with the 1611 version.for more history and interesting reading, i think cbd should try to offer an affordable 1560 geneva bible, and an affordable 1382 wycliffe bible. very hard to read in it's original spelling, but it's true Christian hisory that, we, as Christians, should be interested in. to see/read the progression of each translation up to the 1611 kjv is enlightening and gives you a deeper understanding of how man has interpreted Gods word. i highly recomend this bible to anyone interested in Christain history.

Pastor Joseph BonaventuraSanta Monica, CAAge: 45-54Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5November 7, 2008Pastor Joseph BonaventuraSanta Monica, CAAge: 45-54Gender: MaleYears ago I bought the 1611 in the Thomas Nelson Version before my Mother died she said buy a good Bible KJV if you can so I got that one strange thing is when I dated the inside it was my Mothers birthday the day I received it but anyway I liked it so much I bought the Hendrickson hardback as well....The things I like about it the old middle English makes me study harder, fun to have at a Bible Study and someone forgot their Bible and tries to read mine ha ha, I like that I can write notes very easy in this version, and I just love the size, even at 45 still very easy to read.......I pray that HENDRICKSON would make a large print thinline without the Apocrypha I have nothing against it just really never use it.....all that said great job on this bible it is my very favorite.

George-greene Baptist Assoc5 Stars Out Of 5October 13, 2008George-greene Baptist AssocTo read the the original and language of 1611 is trilling, and offers insight that has been lost. Also the original 1611 would offer many surprises to those who only hold to one translation. I would recommend this to all students of God's Word.

Rodney Bracey5 Stars Out Of 5August 29, 2008Rodney BraceyThis King James 1611 shows us so many things that hidden in scripture. For example the letter "J" did not exist during 1611 and Jesus was called Iesus. That lets us know that we need to go back to the original hebrew root, where the Savior was called Yahushua.

Ross Harvey5 Stars Out Of 5February 8, 2004Ross HarveyOriginally bought as a novelity, but after I learned how to read it, it became my Sunday night bible because of it's compact size. I enjoy reading the old world script.
