And the evening and the morning were the first day.

I echo the other 1 star review. Please read it.
I'd give it a zero if I could.
It's sad that people cannot see, or perhaps they CHOOSE not to see, the truth.
Genesis 1:5 also clarifies the point that there is NO ROOM for evolution... "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." God is clear about what a day is.
Satan is still alive and well...an enemy up to his same old tricks. Don't give an occasion to the Devil. I will reiterate what the other reviewer said, "All "study bibles" contain notes that contradict the text. They can destroy your faith by causing you to doubt God's Word, just as Satan did to Eve in Genesis 3." Stick with a regular Bible and find a separate book about culture, geography, etc. Pray for wisdom and strength.
I bought this Bible to round out my collection. I have to say that I was struck by the amount of detailed information I found in this Bible! As an history buff the myriad of facts contained in the ASB is astonishing! I highly recommend it to Bible students and history lovers alike! Thank you, Zondervan for an excellent production!
This is a very informative Study Bible. I've always been partial to the KJV and this one is filled with great info. I really like that it relates what was happening at the period of time reflected in the chapter you are reading. I love the maps too! I love learning more about the Bible and this one has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to any Bible student whether young or old. My only drawback would be that I wish the print were larger especially the footnotes. Hopefully in the future it will be available in a large print edition. The price wasn't bad either!
My children & I LOVE this Bible. Its very interesting to be reading and to be able to see the different things happening in the world at the same time. Its also interesting to learn what some of the things were in the Bible, how different they were then what we think they are. Very educational and fun to learn.
