A must have for those who have an interest in archaeology. There are plenty of pictures, charts, and precise explanations of many Biblical archaeological sites. Having spent time at digs in Israel, having written a textbook on archaeology for my seminarians, and as an avid student of archaeology, I highly recommend this study Bible.

It is my personal devotional Bible!

    In Jesus,

    Dr. Klein

P.S. It has excellent cross references.

This publication of the Bible is awesome! I purchased it following my tradition of reading through the Bible nearly every year and rewarding myself with a new publication to expand my insights and to keep my eyes entertained by something visually new. I seek factual study helps and an attractive presentation. I avoid bias or opinionated study guides relating to the scripture, itself, seeking rather, to develop my own convictions and opinions, leaving more room for the Holy Spirit to guide my study.

The Archaeological Study Bible by Zondervan has made it very difficult with me to continue my tradition of getting a new Bible for each read-through. I am on my third read-through and I cannot find another publication that appeals to me enough to purchase it and read it instead of reading the Archaeological Study Bible again.

Q: Are the words of Christ in red?

A:

Yes, the words of Christ are in red.

Q: Is the KJV Archaelogical bible by Zondervan Stock #WW942621 come in any other bindings beside hardcover. I would really love to buy this bible but I was wondering if I could get it in the simulated duo-tone leather like the NIV version offers or genuine leather. I have had bonded leather bibles before and when you try to get them to lay flat, the sections come loose from the cover. I have had that happen one too many times. A few customers in their reviews indicated that the bonded leather editions are stiff & that's what I'm trying to avoid. Thanks in advance for your help.

A:

No, this KJV Bible is currently only available in the bonded leather black (WW942621) and hardcover (WW942610).

Q: Is the archeological zondervan bible a translation

A:

Q: Size What are the measurements for this Bible? Length, Height, width.

A:

This Bible measures 9.75" x 6.75" x 2".
