Wanda4 Stars Out Of 5A Call to Action for Men of GodApril 27, 2012WandaTony Evans urges men to get off the sidelines of life and get back into their rightful position in the game of life. His use of football analogy will be welcomed for the man who loves sports. In his three-part book, Evans hopes to help men raise the standard and define manhood according to God's design.
Having read one of Tony's previous books, The Kingdom Agenda, I was quite interested in reading Kingdom Man. Although I'm not a man, I found the book insightful. The author not only identified the problems that result from the absence of properly positioned men but he outlined ways to identify what authentic manhood looks like. His passion for discipleship and mentorship are evident throughout the book.
Using Psalm 128, Tony shows how King David outlines the components of a kingdom man's life-personal, family, church, and community. For each area of a man's life, he provides practical ways to live according to the standards of the kingdom of God.
Disclosure: I was provided a complimentary copy of the book through Tyndale House Blogger Review program in exchange for an honest review. Views and opinions expressed are my own.
