Robert Horne- Jr.San Antonio, TexasAge: Over 65Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Calvin for youFebruary 26, 2015Robert Horne- Jr.San Antonio, TexasAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3This is an easy read. It is written, I think, for the laity. He states clearly how Calvin saw his world and how it relates to ours. You may not agree with everything he writes but you will come away rethinking Calvin's work. If you are a pastor it should make you want to read the some of the literature recommended. The author tries to get me to see Calvin in our timeframe.

JoelCincinnati, OHAge: 55-65Gender: male3 Stars Out Of 5Not bad, but not up to expectionsNovember 23, 2011JoelCincinnati, OHAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 3I wanted the book to explain its title of Calvin being a reformer for the 21st Century. He explained Calvin, but didn't find anything new or fresh in its presentation or its content. Calvin was not reintroduced as a 21st Century figure, but a reformer of the 16th Century. I recommend the book for someone just introduced to Calvin's life and basic beliefs.
