This book lived up to my expectations, and the level is definitely intermediate. As another reviewer mentioned, the book does not tell you what versions the songs are from, but I know that the "Sense and Sensibility" songs are from the 1995 movie starring Kate Winslet and Emma Thomson. The "Emma" songs are from the 1996 movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow, and the "Pride and Prejudice" songs are from the 1995 BBC production (my favorite :) with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I do not know what version the "Persuasion" songs are from, but I hope this helps for others who may be looking to buy this book. I really enjoy it, as it allows me to play the music that I love from some of my favorite movies. Light and thin, this book is easy to pack and take with you wherever you go, as I am sure your family will love to hear the music as much as mine does!

This is a very nice book. The music is rather simple, so for those looking for something in intermediate to advanced difficulty you should perhaps keep looking.

This is a great music book. The music is easy to learn, and the intermediate-level rating is right on the money. The music will put you right into Jane Austen's books or even the movies. The only downside, it doesn't tell you which movie's their taken from. For instance, Pride and Prejudice has been made into about 4 different movies. So when you play the Pride and Prejudice songs, you don't know which remake they're from. Other than that, fantastic music book!
