This product saved our homeschool this year! Math was a struggle last year because we did NOT like the curriculum we were using. Horizons is easy not only for the student to learn and retain new knowlede but is also easy for the teacher to use! It has been a JOY using it this year and my son has been doing very well. Great advice for all homeschool moms--give yourself permission to scratch something that's not working and try something else! I'm looking forward to using Horizons math again next year!

I have just started using this math program for my son who has AS- high functioning autism. After trying 2 other math programs and ending up with many tears. We needed something different. This program is colorful and he is able to focus better because of it! We both love it!

Excellent Curriculum! Very vivid colors. Lesson plans are easy to follow and teach. More advanced than regular Lifepacs but not too fast paced for a 5 year old.

My husband and I looked at several homeschooling math curriculums before deciding on Horizons. Horizons Math teaches the fundamental concepts of math in a child/parent friendly format. Concepts are introduced and repeated throughout the series. Horizons has been a HUGE hit in our homeschool!

My daughter absolutely loves doing this book! It is very colorful and has a lot of variation in the lessons. Each book contains 80 lessons for a total of 160 lessons which fits in perfectly with an average 180 school year. I never used the teacher's manual but I would definitely recommend buying the manipulatives kit sold separately. I really cannot tell if I like Horizons or Abeka math better because they are both really good. You can decide. :)
