Pat Huang5 Stars Out Of 5February 12, 2003Pat Huang"Write what you know" is the usual advice most published writers' would relay to novice writers. Scripture tells us that as we praise "the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from Christ"(2Cor1:3,4). Sheila Walsh humbly shares from her heart what was once considered unheard of in traditional Christian circles. What she reveals is a personal Savior who desires for us to be honest with Him and ourselves as His Truth make and sets us free!

Steve Myers5 Stars Out Of 5July 9, 2001Steve MyersHonestly was a great book and quite a deal at these prices. Walsh entered into an area few Christians talked about (prior to the book) and sadly, few acknoweldge that it is even possible: Depression as a Christian. I know, it is quite real and a condition many wrestle with in silence or fear of what friends or others may say. Pick up the book and find some freedom if it is for yourself, a friend or a family member. Honestly is honesty at its finest.

Lynn5 Stars Out Of 5One of my favorite booksDecember 27, 2022Lynni eead this book several years ago, but it made such an impact on my life that I recommend it to anyone who loves reading. It has helped in my healing journey of learning to be more honest with God and trusting Him more. When I first read it I was struggling with postpartum depression and as a new mom it really encouraged me. This book deals with the shame we feel as Christians and is Biblically sound.
