So far I have read all of Beverly Lewis books that I know of and loved them all. I actually read them twice and I just finished this Hickory Hollow series. I own the DVD The Shunning and The Confession and I've read those books too and I can't tell you how happy I was to meet Katie Lapp and Daniel, Rebecca and Samuel and most of all Ella Mae Zook. I was so glad they were brought forward in this series. It was so nice to meet up with "old friends". Now I'd love to see someone pick up in the idea of making a mini series of these books . I would like first though for another movie to come forth on the Reckoning. The Confession kind of left you wondering if Katie married Justin of if Daniel came for her. We do find out in this new series that she did indeed marry Daniel but it would be nice to see how that all came to be then the movies on the Hickory Hollow Series could follow. The same characters should play the parts they had also. I hate it when characters change after you've made a connection with one. I love the Beverly Lewis books and look forward the more. I can't get enough.
