JessicaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Must Read for All ChristiansFebruary 16, 2019JessicaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We tend to talk a lot about God's love; His mercy and His grace. Have you ever considered God's holiness? If not, why not?
In this book, Dr. R. C. Sproul explains what God's holiness is, and how we are to respond to it. The one thing we should never do is try to ignore it.
I've studied under Dr. Sproul's Ligonier Ministries for a few years, so there was nothing in the book that was especially new to me, but it felt so much deeper. Dr. Sproul had such a way with getting his point across. His personal stories, and creative examples, really draw you into a better understanding of this most important attribute of God's character.
If you are a Christian, you should add this to your list of books to read. -

Kim Casey5 Stars Out Of 5Good for the thinking survivorsOctober 25, 2010Kim CaseyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I picked up this book 2 years ago aiming to understand God's greatness. I was also reading The Wounded Heart for survivors of abuse. Yes, I've struggled with doubts, anger and injustice. I was surprised how Sproul helped me in my journey of healing. I appreciate his logical approach to faith with the assumption that not all readers have unquestioning faith. (even Sproul). I also learned the value of God's name and using it properly.
