Here to Stay, book 2 Where Love Begins series***** by Melissa Tagg

Autumn Kingsley is owner and manager of her family's inn, Kingsley Inn. However, Autumn has dreamed for years of moving to Paris. She finally lands her dream job in Paris but wants to fix up the Inn, hire a manager and make sure her employees continue working at the Inn before she moves. The Inn needs lots of repairs and the mortgage is way behind, how will she be able to do the needed repairs in the short time she has before moving? And what about the overdue mortgage? Then the bank sends her a notice regarding the overdue mortgage, now what will she do?

Blake Hunziker has been away from home for 5 years, traveling around the country trying to find peace. He finally returns home to Whisper Shore, but is unsure of the reception he will receive by his parents and those in town. He is surprised by the unexpected reception he received when he arrives at this parents home. Even more surprised when he is offered a job, that is if he can pull off the upcoming annual Christmas festival. What does he know about putting on a festival? It was suggested he ask Autumn to help him as she has been helping with the festival for years. Ask Autumn to help him? Not a good idea since the Kingsley and Hunziker families have had a feud going for years.

This story is filled with humorlike when Autumn was stuck on the roof from a prankmaking me chuckle. I was glad to see healing and forgiveness from the choices of the past and subsequent consequences, regrets, grief and hurts that followed in the characters livesnot just the main characters but secondary characters as well. Of course there is a sweet romance, a romance that builds slowly as Autumn and Blake work around their past, not knowing if a future is even possible. It was great to see love in action portrayed clearly as the story developed. I also liked that Blake and Autumn learn to allow God to direct their paths in life and in all areasto trust God and not seek others approval. I have not read the first book, (Made to Last) in this series but plan to after reading Here to Stay. Great book!

What an amazing piece of inspirational fiction nestled securely within a contemporary romance! It's an absolutely impossible book to put down!

Autumn Kingsley is determined to follow her dream; to travel the world, at least as far as Paris, France when a long-awaited job opportunity becomes available. But first things, first. She must "right a sinking ship"; her beautiful, vintage family inn needs increasingly serious repairs and a boatload of reservations in order to prevent it from dissolving into bankruptcy and disappearing from Whisper Shore's alluring landscape. Could the offer of assistance from a family nemesis possibly be the answer to her problems, or only the beginning of many, many more? Old wounds leave deep scars.

Blake "Blaze" Hunziker has decided to stop "globe-trotting" and come home to Whisper Shores where his family owns a beautiful posh hotel with five-star amenities in his small, nostalgic home town. But can he be taken seriously, especially after recently starring in a reality television show that featured him pretend-married to its host? And what about the memories of his brother's death; the memories that continue to pervade his thoughts and dreams without warning? Fortunately or unfortunately, when Blake is offered a temporary civic duty; to plan Whisper Shore's upcoming Christmas Festival, he literally runs into Autumn Kingsley and they form a partnership; his help at the inn in return for her help planning the festival. After seeming success on both fronts, there's no "replay button" to push once Autumn and Blake realize that their hearts have formed an alliance of their own.

Melissa Tagg is "here to stay" as well; she has demonstrated her literary skills after crafting a sincere, genuine, lovely romance between two souls who desperately needed each other.

Here to Stay follows Made to Last by Melissa Tagg. But you do not need to read the first to enjoy the second book. Here to Stay is a contemporary romance with plenty of realistic everyday occurrences. The story follows Blake and Autumn and the decisions they need to make concerning their future, both individually and together. I hope Melissa has another one to follow in the works!

I received the book from the Book CLub Network in exchange for my honest opinion.

I became a fan of Melissa Tagg while reading her first book, Made to Last. Her writing style is fun and witty while also teaching lessons. This author has by far one of my favorites! Sometimes an author changes her style or something but this one is still great.

If you have read the first book you will recognize Blake Hunziker as the phony husband of Miranda Woodruff. Blake, also known as Blaze, has been traveling around for years trying to escape the guilt and reminders of home. So when he finally decides to return, he is surprised when his parents welcome him with love. The heroine is Autumn Kingsley. When her father died her mother gave her the Kingsley Inn. Only problem is, Autumn didn't want the shackles of staying in Whisper Shores. She wants to travel and see the world, instead of being chained to a dying hotel.

This novel is funny, entertaining and the author knows how to write her scenes. I felt pulled along with the story and didn't want to put it down. Blake has just the right amount of tenderness and vulnerability mixed in with that male cockiness. You gotta love a guy like that! His spirit with Lucy and Fletcher was just sweet!! And Autumn is so feisty and stubborn. I had to laugh over and over as I devoured this novel. I am soo waiting for the next one. Don't keep us in suspense too long Melissa!!!

I received a copy of this book for my review purposes. All thoughts are 100% mine

I love the characters. You do not want this couple to leave this town except for a vacation. They are this town. I received this book from bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion.
