EmilyCincinnati, OHAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Gave me goosebumps!April 8, 2012EmilyCincinnati, OHAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Last summer, I had two co-workers tell me that there was a book that I simply had to read. Then my husband's grandparents couldn't stop talking about the same book. When I had the opportunity a few months ago to receive a complimentary copy of that same book through BookSneeze, I took it as a sign- this was a book I had to read!
In Heaven is For Real, Todd Burpo recounts when his young son, Colton, had a life-threatening medical situation. Months later, Colton began speaking of the time he spent in Heaven during his medical emergency. Colton spoke of and knew details about deceased family members that he had never met and never knew of. His descriptions of heaven were also consistent with scripture- even though he was too young to know those passages. Colton's experiences are really amazing to read, and both brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps. The writing is simple and easy to read, making it a book you can easily read in an evening. I highly recommend this book, especially to those who have lost a loved one. -
mami5 Stars Out Of 5Great for encouraging your faith...March 19, 2012mamiQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Heaven is for Real made me understand what it means to have childlike faith. It is simple and uncomplicated and all you must do is believe in the love of God. A must read for every believer. It answers a lot of questions about what happens after we die (what next?).

IdahopawlessCoeur d'Alene, IDAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Reminds you how close Heaven is!February 29, 2012IdahopawlessCoeur d'Alene, IDAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I couldn't put the book down and read it all in the day I received it! My heart was elated and somehow feeling much stronger in the affirmation that "Jesus is with me," being an obvious fact. And that we question only because we, or most all of us, cannot see or hear what this little boy did see and hear. It warms your heart and soul. I felt as if we live with a ballon like sphere around us and are only separated from Heaven by this thin clouded plastic bubble, that when we pass, or that bubble is popped, we are then able to see and hear so clearly. Jesus and Heaven are right with each of us, we simply cannot see what this little boy did experience!
