This book was purchased as a gift for a fellow Bible student. She said she loves it. She was especiallt pleased that it can be read - not sure how to put this - just as you would any other book or can be used as a reference volume.

I bought this book thinking that it would be a good companion to the Big Book of Bible Difficulties by Geisler and Howe. I had bought that book a year or two ago, and it has a lot of issues and a lot of detailed answers. I think that book is quite good and have bought it as a gift for two people. I was hoping that the McDowells' book would be equally detailed, but I was disappointed that it does not cover nearly as many issues as the other book. If you want to only buy one book on Bible difficulties, go with Geisler & Howe.
