Excellent character building stories. These books are sold in conjunction with the ACE curriculum, however, would recommend for anyone trying to have excellent options for reading for your 5th grade-age children. Our homeschool student has LOVED all of the books in this pack. Highly recommend ACE curriculum.

We tried this subject for the first time recently, although we have used other PACE products. I like the set up. The only thing I wish was included was a parent/supervisor outline of when each book is used through out the P.A.C.E.'s. I love the stories they selected. The first PACE in the series looks great. It includes definitions of different types of Literature and the students practice writing an anecdote. Self-Editing is taught and they have to practice with writing and editing drafts of their anecdote. In my opinion, at least for my kids, they needed more direction than was given for writing the anecdote.
