I thought the movie was wonderful. I loved the music and the acting was great. I think it is geared toward a younger audience, high school and college aged but I'm sure people of all ages can relate to it and would still find it enjoyable to watch. The message was beautiful. It didn't seem like some low budget film, I was impressed with the quality of the entire movie. Some of the material was more mature than I expected, so I wouldn't allow a child under the age of 13 to see it. With that being said, I guarantee you if your child attends school none of the content would be a surprise, if anything it could open a door for you to talk about it with your child. Overall I was very impressed and recommend it! Sometimes I just put it in the DVD player just to listen to the music.
this movie was more intense than I expected and included some more mature themes. But the message was good and it was good quality. It would be less suited to younger children than to older teenagers and adults.
I really enjoyed this DVD. It is heartwarming and would be great for families with teens and young adults. With all the shows out now - The Voice, American Idol, etc., this is a good video to watch as a family. I would highly recommend it.
I think by now we all know Hollywood wants a piece of the "Christian Movie" pie. This movie has the right actors and music but not much more. I feel they were embarrassed to say Jesus but felt they had to, so they did it ONCE, not including the Christian songs they sang at church. This is not like Courageous or Fireproof where reference to Jesus was throughout the movie. This should not be called a Christian movie. Inspirational, yes. Christian, no.
