JP Williams5 Stars Out Of 5August 8, 2008JP WilliamsAn excellent, and well-rounded resource. Without being too "technical", this commentary helps the reader understand both the social ethos and theological intricacies of the Epistle to the Galatians. It is a smooth-reading and insightful guide through Paul's effort to bring the "bewitched" Galatians back to their senses. Dr. Witherington engages the text at a scholarly level while maintaining a high view of scripture. He also interacts extensively with the copious amount of existing work on Galatians (i.e. Dunn, Longenecker, Martyn, Bruce, etc.). I would highly recommend this commentary (or any of Dr. Witherington's works) to any student of Scripture.
