I purchased this as a gift. I loved it so much I bought extras for myself and to give away to others. There are very clear Bible verses to read for insight, peace, or strength when feeling most any emotion. This is a perfect way to quickly see what God's word has to say about any situation that you may find yourself in. The table of contents lists all the different needs and the corresponding page has anywhere from a few to several verses assembled together about that topic/need. Wonderful for quick reference and help straight from the Bible. This is an attractive, leather like, small book perfect for carrying in a jacket pocket or purse. This little book is wonderful to keep and for giving away. I am very pleased.

I've had a version of this book for probably 20 years or more. When I have been at my lowest I have found many of the topics encouraging, helpful and strengthening. I have given copies of it away many times. God's word helps us understand how God so mercifully and lovingly steps in to help His children. The more we are in it, the closer we can feel to Him. While always important to read scriptures in context, this is good for new Christians who may not be into full Bible readings, as well as a pick-me-up for the more seasoned.

I borrowed this book from a friend and just had to have one for myself, my husband and mother. My mother liked it so much, she got a dozen for her Sunday School Class as presents. This book is so good when you are having problems and sometimes don't know where to look. Has everything easy to find!

Well worth the money! Someone gave one to me, and I have been able to give 14 away to others in Prayer groups and Covenant Discipleship groups. They all say they love this little book because it is easy to read and the Table of Contents allows them to find just the promise that is appropriate for whatever they, loved ones or friends are going through. I have even used them in a Children's Program, entitled "Know GOD'S Promises, Pray GOD'S Promises". Thank you for offering this book at such a reasonable price. I am so glad that I have one of my own and was able to share with others.
