albobLexington, NCAge: 45-54Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent resource for in-depth biblical studiesOctober 9, 2011albobLexington, NCAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book by possibly the foremost authority living on Old Testament is very well presented with an interpretive view through the church lens. Laid out well and thorough in its content, Brueggemann is explicit about his purpose and stays on point to equip for teaching and preaching.

It has been a good reference when it uses other scripture to support a topic and that is good

Minista JOrlando, FloridaAge: 35-44Gender: male3 Stars Out Of 5Product was NOT helpful...April 23, 2012Minista JOrlando, FloridaAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2This review was written for Genesis, Interpretation Commentary. It appears that the writer thought by using COMPLEX wording that it would be beneficial. However it is NOT, it would have been more effective if he would have spoke as he was trying to teach children. To me I am more effective in my delivery when I try and stay on the level of those that I speakingto rather than try and speak above them.
