I bought this set for our four year old for Christmas, and it now being the end of July, I'd have to say that the set has definitely been durable and we've gotten a good amount of use out of it. The little characters are so nice, the detail on them is just lovely, and each disciple has his name on the back.

This has been such an EXCELLENT Resource. When bath time comes they look for the boat and the disciples and Jesus. It is a way that I teach them Bible Stories while taking their baths, every thing from Peter walking on the water (keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus, not their problems), to PEACE BE STILL (helping them to know what to do when they are afraid),. I've just ordered some little fish from Oriental Express to teach them about the catch of fish. The sail doesn't stay on too well, so I ended up dis-guarding that part. Over the years we have misplaced some of the apostles , I would like to purchase another set of just the disciples and Jesus but cannot find them anywhere. It doesn't hurt to have 2 boats though, but I was trying to save money. THANKS

The Galilean ship with 12 Apostles are well made products. The plastic boat is sturdy and the colors of the boat and disciples are bright and attractive to youngsters. The names of the apostles are inscribed on the back of each figure which helps with role playing various biblical events and scenes. Our grandsons have lots of fun with this boat in the outside pool and bathtub. With a little hot glue the mast and sail were secured in place for proper balance and floating. it is a great instructional aid.
