Karen has not failed, she managed to capture me and pull me into yet another one of her stories. I have yet to find a book of Karen's that I don't like. There is a hint of humor in here, some falling in love, and some danger, what else could you ask for in a historical fiction book. I would highly recommend this book and any of Karen's other books she's written. There is a second book in this series that is already out for the Kindle, Love on the Mend, but no date for a paperback or hardback yet.

Loved this book like all her others. Nicole has a lot of guts. She wants to please her father with everything she does in life. Good thing she meets Darius. He helps her to know she can please her father and herself. Looking forward to reading more books by Karen Witemeyer. I received this book from Bookfun.org for a fair and honest opinion.

Full Steam Ahead by Karen Witemeyer is a wonderful Historical Christian Romance. Once again, I am blown away by the amazing writing abilities of Ms. Witemeyer....by yet another amazing story!

This story was well written, with interesting characters. I really loved how the characters have so much in common, but it takes a bit of time for them to become aware of it...you are going to have to read this book to find out more! I really loved Nicole's sassy nature and was really drawn in by her character. Darius really touched my heart, his pain was understandable and his character was so well developed. The strong faith message is something I always love about Ms. Witemeyer's books!

If you are looking for a book that is filled with action, danger, raw emotions, along with forgiveness, joy, humor and excitement...this is the book for you! You will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially those who enjoy historical romance, with wonderful characters.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review by bookfun.org.

This is an excellent book and I enjoyed it so much that I look forward to reading a sequel if it comes out. It is a stand alone book.

The characters are well developed. Even though I love mysteries, this historical novel has some very exciting events.

Nichole Renard is an only child and feels her father wishes she was a son. Her father wanted a son to take over the business of the Renard Shipping Company of Galveston, Texas. Due to the illness of her father, Nichole hurries home but still has the feeling she does not meet her father's expectations. However, she knows her father loves her. He gives her the option of marriage. She can go to New Orleans and find a husband to take over the company. What a father, huh?

Her father is in possession of the Lafitte Dagger. Do others want the dagger and why? Read the book to find out.

After someone breaks into the home, she takes and dagger and flees so quickly she only has limited resources.

She knows in order to get to New Orleans and low on funds, she must get a job.

It is there she meets Darius Thornton who has secrets of his own. He needs a secretary so will she get the job?

Darius is working to find a way to eliminate boiler explosions on ships which have caused terrible accidents. Will he be able to find a way to do this or will he fail? Why is he so passionate about it?

This book is so good that I really do not want to say anymore about it because I want you to buy the book. Read it and enjoy it as much as I have. I received this book from bookfun.org to review for my honest opinion.

    Buy it.
