I'm on the last lesson (been doing it on my own) and there's a lot of good information and explanation. Some of these lifeguide studes don't have answers for all the questions in the back but this one pretty much does offer an explanation for most - I think all of the regular questions and occasionally some hints for the personal ones that are specific and vary indivividual to individual. I loved the study on Psalm 32 about the steps involved in confessing sin and he ties together how God's forgiveness of us means we have to forgive others. I got a little confused on some of this explanation but have been asking others. In a group setting might have gotten answered quicker but I'm glad I went through this on my own as this topic has been a sore spot with me for a long time and I just didn't realize how much it had affected me

I have used a number of LifeGuid Bible Studies and I like their format. I am never disappointed with Douglas Connelly. I lead two Bible studies, one Ladies' Bible Study at our church and another at a local long-term care facility. Sometimes I can use the same ciriculum at both places and sometimes not. This is one I can use both places. I just finished the first lesson and it was well-received both places.

Our ladies Bible study has been doing this Bible study and we are just about done. It has been excellent. I highly recommend. It has brought about great discussion and learning.

This is the second study guide by Douglas Connelly that I have selected for our small group study. The eight study sessions are well organized and each member of our group actively contributes to the discussion. The format of the study is such that each person can feel very comfortable with learning and growing experience that this guide offers.

This study of forgiveness begins with God's forgiveness of His children, and moves to our forgiveness of each other. The questions are not hard to answer but are thought-provoking. It has certainly met the needs we have in our small group.
