I'm currently half way through this book. I've had some great "ah-ha!" moments. After reading the first chapter, I passed the book onto a friend to encourage him and purchased another for myself.

I expect to reread "Failing Forward" to keep the positive flow going.

A leadership class instructor/friend lent me his book. I loved it so much I am buying my own and will be buying it for others as well. I have suffered perfectionism most of my life and lived with haunting failures and being afraid to go forward. Now I realize I needed those failures to grow to successes. John Maxwell has done a suberb job telling wonderful stories of many people-their failures which were important parts of their lives and growth. So then, were they really failures? Are yours?

Failure should never stop one from acheiving their goals in life. If at first you don't succeed try, and try and try again until you accomplish what you put your mind to do. This book gives you reasons why we fail, fear, discouragement, and etc., but this book also encourages you not to let failure stop you. Make goals and once you accomplish that goal move on and your confidence will improve with each step.
