Candice Mcclellin5 Stars Out Of 5Great NotebookNovember 28, 2011Candice McclellinQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a great addition to the Apologia Swimming Creatures book. While Apologia does offer some free printable on their website, this notebook far surpasses the freebies. It is also in a very sturdy spiralbound notebook, very durable.
My daughter is already enjoying using this along with her study and I am enjoying not having to worry about printing with paper and ink and loose papers everywhere.
I think the price of is reasonable, considering the amount of money in ink and paper it would cost to print something as big as this notebook is.
It is a great buy! -
DawnLake Worth, FLAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great resource for Apologia!September 9, 2011DawnLake Worth, FLAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5I love this notebook! I am not a crafty homeschooling mom and this is a great way for the kids to notebook about what they are learning without me having to do a lot of work to put it together. I have used the cd in the past and printed the pages out myself and they filed them in a 3 ring binder, but this is even better. I love that at the end of the year they will have a bound book of what they have learned all year. Binders are cumbersome to store but this is something they will want to keep and show others.

Donna Delp-McCartney5 Stars Out Of 5September 22, 2010Donna Delp-McCartneyThis notebooking journal with lapbook elements is very well done. I was pleasantly surprised. Christian Book offered the best price! If you like notebooking, you will enjoy the ease of having so many pages at the ready. Note pages are black and white, lapbook elements are in color (yeah:)

Amy Ouellette5 Stars Out Of 5September 17, 2010Amy OuelletteWhen we first received the journals, I was a little disappointed. Most of the pages were just empty with no direction as to how to complete (like a notebooking journal you would create on your own). But after using it for the Lesson 1, I must say I am surprised at how much it has added to the textbook. There are extra experiments, DVD suggestions, and a Scientific Speculation Sheet, which models a Lab Report, for the "big" experiments in the text. With an 8th grader in Apologia Physical Science and struggling to learn the proper way to complete a Lab Report, I am especially thankful for these forms for the younger students. With two students who are complete opposite learners (I have one that is extremely creative and the other that is "just the facts, ma'am") doing Zoology 2 together, the notebooking journals have given them something that they can complete in their own style. So far, I am happy I did not return the books, which was my initial thought. Thanks Jeannie far another great product!
