This is an excellent book that helps women understand God's role for us in marriage. She uses scripture to back up her work. It talks about being less selfish and helps lead you to focus more on your husband's needs. It is one sided but this isn't a marriage book its a book focused solely on the wife's point of view and on how to be a better wife. Other reviews have stated that it seems to make a woman lose her individuality but I believe that isn't the case. She is merely pointing out that we as wives should be less selfish. I suggest also watching Fireproof and then reading The Love Dare if you have some problems understanding the message in this book.

This a wonderful book. Full of truths that are so important to be reminded of as a Christian wife. This book is in stark contrast to what the world would have us believe about marriage, but it is very much in line with what God would want us to embrace as wives. I reread chapters in this book as I need to be reminded of where God wants me to be in my marriage. I highly recommend.

I love this book! I'm currently reading it, and I finally feel like I'm learning what being submissive to your husband really means according to the Bible. It gives Biblical instruction on how to deal with marital circumstances beyond your control, reminding you that God has a very special, eternal purpose and ministry for wives - to be a godly wife by focusing on Jesus, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are looking for Biblical counseling on how to be a godly wife, this book is it!

This book is wonderful for a woman who wants to glorify the Lord. All topics are addressed through the scripture. This book, most importantly, talks to a woman about how to live her life for Christ.
