sunshinegirlSan Augustine, TXAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Humorous and true!October 9, 2014sunshinegirlSan Augustine, TXAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really enjoyed reading Desperate Pastors' Wives, Secrets from Lulu's Caf Series. Being in a pastor's family for most of my life and being around them, the wives tend to want to be perfect in the eyes of their congregation and their husbands/families and not be real; who they are and who the Lord wants them to be; using the gifts God gave them and not try to meet the expectations of the church, which can never happen! Very funny at times in the book and true to pastors' wives!! Would recommend to every church member but especially pastors' wives to read! It's ok to be human!!

Sandra Schmitt5 Stars Out Of 5April 7, 2009Sandra SchmittEnjoyed the book. I liked knowing that the pastor's wife was human just like the rest of us and that she need someone to talk to about her own problems. Finding that kind of person can be hard sometimes.

Amber5 Stars Out Of 5December 1, 2007AmberI loved this book! I took it on vacation this summer and I'm afraid my husband did much of the driving as I wanted to keep reading. :) I am not a pastor's wife but appreciated the "realness" of the book and how real these ladies seemed.
