I know a lot of women out there are really into the "Jesus Calling" and "She Reads Truth" devotionals currently and they are good. But this here is the original devotional of that ilk and is AMAZING. Every time I read through it I receive afresh. It is a great way to start or end your day or to get a Word in the middle of the day.

I've loved this book for years. This new printing is easy to use. I gave them as gifts this Christmas.

I also have Jesus Calling, which seems to be an "offshoot" of this book. I dont know what happened to my old copy, but I want this devotional in my Christian library. I really wish they had the faux leather binding in this one as well, or even large print but this will have to do

I have enjoyed this book so much that I have purchased several copies to give to friends. I started by reading the Spanish version, "Ven Conmigo, Amada Mio," and then bought the English one just to make sure I was getting every little nuance correctly. I also gave the Spanish version to a bilingual friend who was going through a very difficult time. It was exactly what she needed.

The tenderness of Jesus talking to me in this book is breathtaking. I want to read it over and over again.

Great devotional for a closer more intimate relationship with the Lord.
