For spiritual “quality time” with your five- to eight-year-old kids this holiday season, check out Christmas Stories for Bedtime—going a step beyond the traditional storybook! Thirty readings are included, in fun, easy-to-understand stories that your kids will love. From Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah, to the actual Nativity and all the details that surrounded it, Christmas Stories for Bedtime explains the first Christmas in ways that young hearts can grasp. Each chapter is accompanied by full-color illustration and design, making Christmas Stories for Bedtime an ideal book for learning and fun.
"I loved this book! I liked the pictures. It was easy to read and had prayers to say. I practiced them all. I didn’t know Jesus had so many names. Jesus was very special and people kept coming to see him. Mary didn’t want them to wake up Jesus. The story told me that sometimes I have to do things I don’t want to do, but I know I need to do them even if they are hard. You have to pray every day."
Zoey and her friend read this book for two days and talked about the stories. They liked the prayers and made us do them all. She asked a lot of questions and it was so easy for her to understand. "Christmas Stories for Bedtime" is a great book to introduce children to the birth of Jesus and what Christmas is all about.
This book feature alot of stories about Jesus of Nazareth and his early life. It was told in such a way to encourage children to pause and think about the real meaning of Christmas. I like this book very much, and as the title suggest, it’s perfect for a bedtime story.
If you’re looking for a religious bedtime storybook for your children with not only stories but hymns and prayers in it, this book is for you. This book will definitely make a wonderful keepsake. I rate this book 5 stars.

The Bible verse was a little difficult to understand due to the translation, but the stories were great! Also, don't leave the book open face down, our cover came unglued. Still love the book though!

There are songs to sing and the stories are written so kids can understand it. Perfect book for your kids to really understand the TRUE meaning of chirstmas. I even bought on for my little niece who was born right after chirstmas :) The onyl thing that i dont really like is taht is seems to be cheaply made, the binding on our is already falling apart, i even purposly kept it out of the kids reach so they wouldnt ruin it.
