We are part way through presenting this series at our church. We are so impressed with the level of knowledge and research Paul Carden has put into this series. Paul Carden does an amazing presentation capsulizing the essentials of the core values of the Christian faith, and providing an overview of each of the cults and religions shared in the series. We've had in depth discussions in the classroom as a result, with a high rate of classroom participation. He's a very interesting presenter. The DVD has a clear format and Paul Carden is articulate, thoughtful, clear and knowledgable in presenting the information.

Our small group leader has held two intro to world religions studies. We've covered some material as one the DVD. This inspired me to find more similar material while I study, particularly on Islam. Definitely met expectations.

I have been completely satisfied thus far. I have covered sessions 1, 2, and 6 and reviewed the other disc with the leader's guide. Fantastic material! I really how each session has overlap reinforcing our core beliefs as Christians.

Unlike some of the others who have given negative reviews, I believe the QUALITY of this dvd should pertain to the CONTENT of the teachings, NOT entertainment.

I had been looking for a great dvd teaching set that can educate both myself and my homeschooled teenage son about the false religions in the world compared with the truth in the bible about Christianity, and to my delight, I found everything I was looking for in this wonderful dvd! :)

The videos are very informative with very clear and easy to understand teachings. The kit also includes a printable study guide on cd rom including terms with definitions and short Q&A quizzes--which is great for homeschoolers or bible study groups.

I was very satisfied with this dvd and the value. I highly recommend this video to anybody who would like to understand and learn more about the world's most popular cults and false religions. If you are seeking proper teaching and good information over entertainment, you will not be disappointed! :)

I purchased this DVD hoping for a dynamic presentation of what sometimes can be a talking head laying out the facts. Too bad, although the information is excellent, the presentation is just above mind numbing. Paul Carden does a good job regarding "just the facts", but his style of presentation of those facts is not engaging. In my opinion, only those who are great listeners or are highly motivated to "tune-in" will be able to maintain attention. Again, the information is helpful, but I would not recommend this to a group that is not committed to being attentive students.

While the information that it presents is good and at few times a little interesting, the presentation leaves much to be desired.

I purchased this to use in my high school Sunday School class and it is very difficult to get the kids to stay awake through it. It's dry to say the least.

Also, the series is made to look like it was filmed in on a stage with a large audience but it really is just green-screen effects...poorly done effects! You can definitely tell that he "doesn't belong" with the objects that surround him and the audience members just stare off into space when they are shown on camera.

Unless you are very good at just staying attentive, I don't recommend this series. I think it would be better as a radio program actually.
