Product Description

God doesn't call every Christian to go off to seminary, but there are certain matters of doctrine---that is, the church's teaching---that every Christian simply must know. Theology is important because what we believe affects how we live. If you're a relatively new believer in Jesus, or if you're a more mature Christian looking for a quick brush-up on basics of the faith, Christian Beliefs is for you.

This readable guide to twenty basic Christian beliefs is a condensation of Grudem's Systematic Theology. He and his son, Elliot, have boiled down the essentials of Christian theology for the average layperson and made them both clear and applicable to life. You will learn about the Bible, the characteristics of God, what it means that we are created in the image of God, what God has done for us in Christ, the purpose of the church, and much more. Each chapter includes questions for personal review or group discussion.

Christian Essentials Made Plain and Simple God doesn’t call every Christian to go off to seminary, but there are certain matters of doctrine—that is, the church’s teaching—that every Christian simply must know. If you’re a relatively new believer in Jesus, or if you’re a more mature Christian looking for a quick brush-up on basics of the faith, Christian Beliefs is for you. This readable guide to twenty basic Christian beliefs is a condensation of Wayne Grudem’s award-winning book on systematic theology, prized by pastors and teachers everywhere. These truly are twenty basic beliefs that every Christian should know. He is a man of deep conviction and theological passion—and those who read this book will be both educated and encouraged in the faith. R. Albert Mohler Jr., President, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky Based on Systematic Theology, this summary will certainly help beginners with Christ to get the hang of their faith. This book is a wonderful summary book of Grudem's 1100+ page Systematic Theology. I have used it to teach a small group on basic Christian beliefs and it is easy to read and understand by all and leads to great discussions during our time together. It gives solid biblical evidence for doctrinal beliefs and is a great resource to have for all Christians.

The basic truths of Christianity are essential to those who wish to fully practice and share their beliefs. This book is great review for those who are well established in their faith as well as an excellent study for those who are just beginning to explore. It is an excellent tool for group study with believers at all levels of experience. Defending our faith begins with factual knowledge of Biblical truths and this book explains that in very practical terms.

I like this product and all the products that I have received from you. The reason I use Romans 10:9 on every thing is that is the verse I was saved on. God has made it so easy for us if we would just reach out and take a hold of it.

I like your products because they also help my study as a Lay Minister
