I have three children and have homeschooled for 12 years, using a multitude of different curriculums. My daughter, who is now graduating, has always struggled with science and never enjoyed it. Last year, we discovered Biology 101, and we fell in love with it! My daughter begged for Chemistry 101 this year and has been loving it and learning! Almost daily she shares with me how in the videos, Wes puts the information in such a relatable, understandable, and interesting way that she is captivated by it. I am amazed at my daughter's love for science now and her level of understanding the content. This curriculum requires very little parent involvement or preparation. It is the absolute best science series out there!

This was truly a God-send for us! My son's private school closed down so he is homeschooling his last 2 years of high school. This series got him his chemistry in a fun and informative way! He enjoyed it and learned a lot as did the rest of the family! I highly recommend it! When I was looking into it, it stated that it is a basic class for kids who don't intend to enter a scientific field which is exactly where we're at. Thank you, Wes Olsen!! You saved the day!

I took chemistry in high school and never really understood much of it. Using this DVD set with my sophomore son, not only did he learn the concepts in a way that made it really to understand, now I understand it better too! Olson really explains the concepts in easy to grasp ways with examples and demonstrations. I believe you can learn more from this video than reading an entire textbook on the subject! Olson also provides a curriculum you can follow if you want to make the study more in-depth with additional research recommendations and experiments. Tests are provided as well. I highly recommend this product, particularly if you or your child find this subject intimidating.

My son just completed a home school co-op chemistry course that used a challenging textbook. He finished with the highest grade in the class. In preparation for the class, we started watching these DVDs the summer before class started and continued periodically throughout the school year. The instructor is engaging, humorous without being silly, and effective in his explanations. We loved it. He set a positive and enthusiastic tone, and piqued interest for my son as he started his class last fall. Although strictly a supplement, I feel it was an invaluable resource that contributed to my son's interest and success in his class and I highly recommend it!

My two teens had done Chemistry 101 this year and loved it!!! We also included other homeschoolers in on our field trips, which my students really enjoyed. The students really learn about Chemistry through a godly perspective. Wes and his wife did a fabulous job of incorporating Greek and Latin terminology, research, lab, field trips and classroom video sessions. Both my students (1 advanced in science and the other an artist) loved, loved it!

Bless they're hearts that God would have them do a work such as this!
