I cannot recommend this book highly enough for anyone who wants to study the book of Revelation.

I don't know how a person can read the minds of most people when he says, "Most people will find the presentation disappointing." I would think the opposite is true for anyone trying to make sense of Revelation.

The book of Revelation has so much "activity" going on and so many allusions to the Old Testament that I found it confusing to organize it in my mind. I started to make charts and was overwhelmed. Then I discovered this book.

I think most people will find that this book is totally helpful--the references are from the Bible itself. The author is not interpreting Revelation, just organizing it so the reader does not get overwhelmed with all the interrelated information that is not in a narrative style.

The information in the tables is interesting but difficult to verify authenticity. The presentation makes it difficult to use the information without resorting to making graphic charts from the tables. Because the tables are so difficult to verify, referencing them as a source is not practical. The "charts" (tables) are useful in research but not very useful as an end product. Some tables need some explanation to minimize the time invested in study and verification. Most people will find the presentation disappointing.
