Robert Pittenger5 Stars Out Of 5December 11, 2009Robert PittengerVery good DVD. It's also very inexpensive, so it makes it easy to do. We will be doing this at our church.

DirectorPHC4 Stars Out Of 5DVD needs Participant's GuideJuly 13, 2016DirectorPHCQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3Luckily, I purchased the Participant's Guide with the DVD, as well as the workbook. The DVD comes with a Leader's guide inside the case, and provides great guidelines for time with each session. It is very important to review the materials prior to presenting to the groups. It would be helpful to have the actual book for participants, too, as it is listed in the Participant's Guide for weekly reading assignments. I also purchased the workbook, which would really only be needed with the book, and not with the small group DVD or Participant's Guide.

VickyAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5DVD to use with Participants Guide and BookOctober 24, 2014VickyAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The skits look dated and the DVD could use a new edition. That aside, it is excellent information delivered by the authors. I am using the group guide, which I find to be a bit too repetitive and have set aside. I do read the book with the guide and DVD, to help explain the concepts when we do discussion in our small group.

Easter Seals Nh4 Stars Out Of 5December 2, 2009Easter Seals NhVery good, but very surfacy compared to the book. Didn't realize that needed companion guide with it to make best use of it.

Jerry Neill3 Stars Out Of 5March 17, 2008Jerry NeillMaterial in book ,discussion guide is wonderful. However, the good doctor's efforts in the DVD are too technical and clinical. They need to use narrative and less tech language and make the DVD presentations more accessible and hearable. Reference Chip Ingrams "Raising Effective Kids.." for a good DVD presentation
