This is a wonderful read for the person seeking more than general insight without being forced to deal with a very heavy technical commentary on the book of Deuteronomy. The writer has very good insight into proper interpretation of Biblical Scholarship and seeks to explain his opinions in the language of the common layperson. Although I would question his his understand on the commandment of "Though Shall not Steel" that explained on 5:19. I would encourage everyone that is seeking a good education in Biblical Law to own and read a copy of it.

This commentary is one of the better ones I've read this year. It has the right mixture of readability and scholarship. I found it to be quite engaging. ~Definitely~ worth owning!
