Cindy5 Stars Out Of 5October 31, 2006CindyVery insightful. A must read for all. Down to earth terms and examples that help you understanding mental illness. I read it twice cover to cover. I highlighted and underlined something in every chapter. Then I gave it to our physician as homework.

DrBarkerLubbock, TXAge: 35-44Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Great help to understand stress-related problemsSeptember 29, 2011DrBarkerLubbock, TXAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I am a family practice physician treating a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression illnesses along with some bipolar and other problems. I typically buy several of these at a time and give them to patients or families trying to understand why they suffer from something they feel they should be able to beat. It gives a good review of the problems, medications, and non-medical therapies available. It makes my job easier through enlightening the patient and their family members. I recommend it for all pastors, counselors, and physicians to see a Christian look at psychiatric diagnoses.

Cmaze4 Stars Out Of 5Great InfoApril 23, 2016CmazeQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I have learned a wealth of information regarding the types of depression and how it can be treated. I am concerned that most of the cases in the book are treated with medication which is what most want to avoid. The authors are clearly baiting you to visit their clinic and I wonder if they have any resources for many who can not travel out of state due to the financial burden.
