I thought that this pamphlet was well done and exceeded my expectations in regards to the information it provided. This is a good comparison overview of 20 legitimate Bible translations. While by necessity concise, the comparison does a good job of touching on a number of translation issues and concerns. The advice to use the Bible recommended by your church in "How to choose a Bible" is generally ok, but be aware that not all translations are unbiased and reliable. For example, look up "New World Translation" in The Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin.
