This guide is a wonderful accent to a well written book. it allows us to study deeper into Gods word and apply it to our every day life.

Mr. Lucado has an excellent gift for taking Gods word aind translating to a form that anyone no matter where they are inn their walk with the LORD.,and all ares of life can benefit from it and apply to our every day life.

We are using both the DVD and Study Guide in our Women's Bible Study and are finding it very practical, Bible center, and life changing. It has encouraged us to focus on a personal relationship in prayer rather that on concern over correct language or positions. The Pocket Prayer is easy to remember and forms a framework on which to pray throughout each day..

Good guide to use with the DVD as an individual or in a group. Allows for group discussion if used in a group.

Having read the book. I shared the "Pocket Prayer" with our bible Study group and they wanted to go through the workbook. The videos were great and the discussion questions were stimulating. While it is designed for 4 sessions, we took 2 sessions for each of the 4 to save time for prayer together. A meaningful study with good "between-sessions" reflections that added to our sharing each week as insights gained during the week were shared. Lucado's unique expressions are frequently recalled by the group.

Facilitated a group at the church. You must use the DVD that goes with it in order to participate fully in the study. He's not "preachy" but encourages participants to want to dig deeper for themselves. He's very Bible centered....so important.
