Cheryl BertoVancouver, B.C.Age: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Basic is basically very good.February 8, 2012Cheryl BertoVancouver, B.C.Age: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I have viewed 2 of the 3 movies/clips and have worked through 3 of the study group sessions with my home group. We had lots of great discussion of deep or core theological issues as they apply to how we live our lives. It seems that the study does a good job of embedding the truths in a deep way. There's not a lot of focus on peripheral issues that might distract. I showed the first movie to my kids (10 & 13) and they found it interesting and we had a great discussion as well. The truths or concepts are very accessible - although God should get some credit for that - Francis Chan represented them well.
The "movies" make the talking/ teaching more interesting and capture the essence of what Francis is saying well (so far)

Therefore making our group more vocal during discussions. =D
