This Bible cover is well made with plenty of support-- in other words, it is not flimsy. It has a conservative design and would be well suited for either men or women. It looks like it will last for years.

I kept my fingers crossed hoping this XL Bible cover would fit my NIV Large Print Life Application Study Bible. It's a perfectly snug fit. I love the sleek look of it. It reminds me of the Victorinox luggage line, which I am a huge fan of. The one zipper pocket opens wide enough for me to put pens, a small notebook, & some mints. The double zipper to access the Bible is quite convenient. The handle feels sturdy enough to withstand the weight of the XL Bible. The only minor problem is that if you have bookmarks w/ long ribbon tails, you have to be careful not to get it caught in the zipper. I love my new Bible + Bible cover.

I bought my first one about 8-9 years ago. It was one of the few that fit my Oxford Bible. When the gusset started to come apart from the cover and the shoe repairman couldn't restitch it I searched for another like it. I was so pleased that this classic style was worthy of only one minor change and still available. There is an elastic loop for pen/pencil holder; actually it holds both. for me. It has an open back pocket for bulletin notes. I don't need to carry my purse into church anymore because of the front pocket. It has a generous gusset making it very easy to find the small teabags I use during Bible study class, the extra pen, a small pack of tissues, my offering envelope. It is large enough to store some sentimental things like my step dads funeral bulletin or folded full sheets of some references I use. The handle is durable, strong and comfortable. I felt very fortunate that I was able to replace it with basically an identical one so I ended up buying a second one to have in another 8 or 9 years. I have a friend who liked it so much she purchased one too..

I had this case for nearly 3 years. One side of the handle tore off and I wanted it to last. My bible, note pad, pens, tissue and more fits easily. Although, I still use it by carrying like a book until something sturdier can replace it.

I initially purchased this cover at B & N, nice cover, durable material, lots of places to store pens and papers...but one of the pieces of material that holds the carrying handle came loose. I ordered the same one online thinking the one I bought at B & N was just a flaw on just that one. NOT! The same thing happened on the one I ordered online. This is a manufacturing flaw. I took a hot glue gun and carefully applied the glue and inserted the material back in place and it has held since. Recommend to others? Make sure you have a hot glue gun.
