I was the world's worst and forgetting to get items for the "Try This" and "experiments". I decided to get this kit and MAN what an awesome investment. My daughter could just go to the box and get the bag out that corresponded to her unit. She had everything she needed (minus a couple of things that were definitely at home) and she could enjoy science. It even had items I would have never found like the "blood typing kit". My girl never would have had that experience if I didn't have the kit. I will buy a kit for every Apologia Science we do from now on.

This kit has almost everything you need , someone has taken great care and thought into putting this together. Granted some things you may have already like scissors and ruler but it is broken into assignment . So user friendly my child can do on his own and has LOVES science.

Yes, it is expensive, but when you are in the middle of a lesson and hit a "Try This" or don't plan ahead like me, this kit is awesome. Everything in the kit is placed in little baggies labeled for each lesson. There really is very little left to supply yourself. I have used other science kits for this series too, but this is the best by far.

We're appreciating having the items that go with each lesson, place in individual bags and clearly labelled ... the children were so tempted to just jump in and enjoy the enclosed sweets.

We've used quite a few science 'kit included' curriculums to date and this ranks up there with the best!

We ordered the supply kit along with the text, and the appropriate notebooking journals, I'm so pleased we did, it's taken "the book" from something we'd just read and discuss to an experience we'll also 'do'.

Love this kit. My girls age 4 and 12 liked doing the edible cell.
