The chapters in this text are written at roughly a 9th grade reading level, so it is not properly a text for children, as some have supposed. It is a nice introduction to Creation Science. As someone trained at the university level in the biological science -- having endured countless lectures on Darwinism and having that theory taught as scientific fact -- I find it refreshing to read from the Creationist perspective. Creationism is no less proven than Evolution (I now have a good grasp of the arguments for both); however, with Creationism, there is a bit more to look forward to.

Written in a question-&-answer format (27 questions with an additional concluding question regarding evangelism), this book tackles almost all common questions involving evolution, creation and the bible. This is very user-friendly as it's supplemented with charts, and black & white illustrations, and written non-technically. A great handbook defending young-earth creationism.

I have not finished the book yet, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. Ken Ham speaks as close to lay man's terms as he can get considering the subject matter (i.e, the laws of physics, math, logic, nature, et al). It's a fascinating read. As believers, it is not necessary that we seek proof for the foundation of our faith. But as evangelists, it is vital that we equip ourselves with the knowledge to defend our faith. Not only that, but the author demonstrates how everything pertaining to the functioning of our universe exalts the one and only God.

This book should be on every Christian bookshelf. Ken Ham at his best once again. I was lent this book by a friend once and then decided that I needed to have both vol 1 & 2 for my own family. Knowledge is power for Christians.

Here is a book that is hard to put down. If it were not for the serious subject matter, I would say the book was enjoyable. Highly recommended.
