I just read the previous persons review, and I would like to say that they are very misinformed. If you took time to listen to the whole song "Paisano's Wylin" you would realize how incorrect your judgement is. When you read the Bible, you can't just take one verse and use it out of context, and same with Andy Mineo's song. You can't take one line and use it out of context, listen to the whole song and you will realize he says, "You don't need skill for new rap. Check the first verse. You know I proved that". He was basically saying that the first verse of his song is how most rappers today rap, and that doesn't require skill. So please don't put Andy down like that. He is preaching truth through his music. Do not judge by mere appearances, but make a correct judgement.

I agree wholeheartedly with Joseph. The songs are very relevant and do not stray from Christianity. His lyrics are deep and meaningful. I run a ministry and am happy to listen to this personally as a father and allow my 12 year old to listen to Andy Mineo. And those last lyrics to Paisano's Wylin' ARE funny. I am thankful the Lord allows us, as Christians, to have a sense of humour. Take it in while, not part. Great album! Can't wait for more!

Andy Mineo was never really a rapper that I got into. The only people from Reach Records I listen to are Trip Lee and KB. Besides that, I mainly listen to Flame. I had a friend who told me about Neverland and how incredible it was. I decided to give the album a listen and I was not overly impressed with the album's content.

To start off, the album's cover turned me off from the word go. Not alot of people would notice, or care to notice, that there are many new age and gang symbols inside the letters that spell "Never Land" . The all seeing eye, the scimitar Islamic sword, the skull with the lightning bolt on it's head, and the black widow spider, which symbolizes death. It's also worth mentioning the broken alcohol bottle. Why is all of this on the cover? Is any of this explained? No.

Another issue with this album is the song "Paisano's Wylin'". A disgusting and angry song with a very hard to find message (If there is one at all). Lyrics such as "I might just throw a Buddha 'round my necklace / They think Paisano's Wiylin' / That boy reckless" leave me scratching my head wondering what Any Mineo is trying to communicate. And even more disturbing is when he says "When someone's running their piehole / Just give 'em a good smack to the face"

The song goes on to talk about how there is someone who is running their "piehole" and Andy takes them to his grandmother's for dinner and gives this person so much food he can't eat anymore. Then Andy says "Imma drive you home / Throw you in the bathroom / Lock the door / And burn every piece of toilet paper you own you schmutz!!"

If this is supposed to be funny, I'm not laughing. Don't forget the repeating chorus "Red wine on Everything" This is the most disturbing and problematic christian rap song I have EVER HEARD. Extremely inappropriate and not even necessary.

The final problem I have with this album is the fact that it's supposedly christian, but instead of being a christian rap album, it's just a rap album with references to christian things. So many references to new age such as the lyrics from the title track "When the moons align / we'll map out a journey for you and I" are vague and thrown in without any explanation for what they mean.

In closing, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. Not biblical, Not encouraging, and not appropriate for anyone who wants to listen to christian rap music that actually has a good message.
