What is America becoming? Or, more importantly, what can she be if we reclaim a vision for the things that made her great in the first place?
In America the Beautiful, Dr. Ben Carson helps us learn from our past in order to chart a better course for our future.

where we have gone astray
which fundamental beliefs have guided America from her founding into preeminence among nations
Written by a man who has experienced Americas best and worst firsthand, America the Beautiful is at once alarming, convicting, and inspiring. Youll gain new perspectives on our nations origins, our Judeo-Christian heritage, our educational system, capitalism versus socialism, our moral fabric, healthcare, and much more.
An incisive manifesto of the values that shaped Americas past and must shape her future, America the Beautiful calls us all to use our God-given talents to improve our lives, our communities, our nation, and our world.

Marge5 Stars Out Of 5America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation GreatJanuary 7, 2015MargeHave to confess I have not read the book as yet. I purchased it as a gift for my husband who absolutely couldn't put it down until he had finished it. He handed it to me the other day and said "this is a really good book, the guy needs to be president"!! So from that review, I'd say the book is excellent!

I love Carson's insight and logical conclusions. I also love how he non-apologetically interweaves his faith throughout the book.
Highly recommend it!

Janet Shaffer5 Stars Out Of 5I am impressedSeptember 19, 2013Janet ShafferQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Ben Carson has a wisdom that could be put to good use if those in authority in our country would take it into consideration. Many of his answers to the issues facing our country are simple, so simple that one wonders why some of our elite in office have not implemented any of them. I believe Ben Carson is a voice that needs to be heard. He may not have all the answers, but what he says makes more sense to me then anything else I have heard or seen Anyone who remembers what we were like as a nation, even 50 years ago and would like it to return to some resemblance of what we were, will enjoy this book, but might also be challenged to do whatever possible to help bring the needed changes.
KwifeStanton, MIAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Empowering BookJuly 27, 2013KwifeStanton, MIAge: 55-65Gender: femaleThis is a must-read for anyone in the US from middle-school age and above. Ben Carson shares a wealth of Godly wisdom and common sense, and relates it to what is needed to bring our nation back to economic health. The information needs to be applied to our personal lives, and then nationally. It is a very encouraging book and shows how to aim our efforts in the right direction in order to succeed.
