This is the BEST book that I have read in a long time that teaches you about life. Very understanding read, AND I enjoyed learning from it! I love the scenarios that the Dr. explained in detail about how people REALLY are. I work full time and now have a more clearer understanding of fear and peer pressure. This book has helped me and I recommend everyone read it! God Bless You, Dr. David and Thank-You for your great book! You are a genius.

Dr. Jeremiah brings to light some of the most common fears people have and uses verses from the Bible to help people learn how to overcome them. He also uses real life stories to show some of the fears that other people have had and overcome.

This book would be an excellent resource for anyone who lives in fear and wants help on learning how to overcome it.

Life is filled with fears. Dr. David Jeremiah takes a look at these fears as well as providing strong Biblical teaching on how to overcome these fears. There are 10 types of fear that are discussed. These fears are: disaster, disease, debt, defeat, loneliness, disapproval, danger, depression, death, and God. These are things that everyone deals with in themselves or in other people that touch our lives. The hope and practical wisdom provided is motivating.

I know this book will be a great reference tool to be used throughout my life. Working with people on a daily basis will put these principles into practice. I look forward to sharing this wisdom with the people in my life.

My heartfelt thanks to Netgalley and Tyndale House Publishers for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book

This is one of the best books I've read. It not only challenges you to walk with God. It also inspires you to live a life pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ. Walk with Him daily and read the Bible.

This book makes so much sense, with so many good references, that I plan to read it again, knowing I'll get even more out of it. These are valuable insights, and they will take some time to sink in. I respect many of the authors quoted, like Joni Eareckson Tada, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, among others. There are also many relevant Scriptures. If you need to be comforted and encouraged, this is worth reading.
