    This is a good story to explain the slavery issue to kids. It's not too scary and would help them understand a bit more of the history of this issue.

    We showed this at summer camp without previewing it first, big mistake. It made me very uncomfortable and it made the children uncomfortable. This might be appropriate at home but not at church with children. We threw it in the trash. The other movies we loved, and we are purchasing more movies but checking the topics they cover first.
