I used this book along with Beechick's Genesis: Finding Our Roots in our Biblical History class. Both were excellent! It was a lot of reading to squeeze into the two weeks we spent studying Creation-Noah but I was so glad we did it! The rewards were great for my middle-high school students! These books together sparked so many questions and a lot of discussion! Many thanks to the author!

Fascinating book. The timeline is incredible, especially when you see that Adam and the other patriarchs lived almost to the time of the Flood... Adam was still around when Noah's father was born! It brings the Bible stories to life and makes you feel like you know these people. It wasn't really so very long ago, in the overall scheme of things...

Wonderful read aloud or read alone book - really gave depth to the biblical stories we know so well. Book flows well, reads well, and the central theme revolves around "the promised seed" - a parallel to the first book of the bible. Well worth the read!

This is a wonderful book. It reads like a historical novel, opening our imaginations to what early life may have been like in the days of Adam through Abram. This book is based in part on a theory by Dr. Henry Morris on how Genesis is divided into historical writings written by the early patriachs themselves. Fascinating!

This important book gives children a Biblically accurate overview of the book of Genesis, told in a narrative style. Read this book to your children before you begin your study of ancient history.
