Jen Turano is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She legitimately makes me laugh out loud when I am reading so I was very excited to get this book and I was not disappointed.

This book follows the adventure of Agatha Watson and her renewed friendship with Zayne Beckett who has had his share of trials and tribulations since the last book. Agatha likes to go undercover to get the ultimate stories as a reporter which repeatedly puts her life in danger. Their interactions can be described as fire and ice at times but it makes for great reading. Sometimes the plot is slightly ridiculous but that is what makes these books enjoyable.

I recommend reading all of the other books in this series before reading this one so that you can appreciate the characters to their fullest potential.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free from Bethany House Publishers for an honest review.

Oh my goodness. I cannot believe how wonderful this book was. I have been reading Jen Turano's books since her debut, A Change of Fortune, and I always wanted Zayne and Agatha to get together. This book is full of more hilarious misfortunes that Agatha finds herself in, but Zayne turns out to be the one that needs to be rescued. Repetitively. She becomes HIS knight in shining armor. I LOVE IT!

I received this book from the author/publisher for the purpose of review. The above is my honest opinion.

If you have not read any of Jean Turanos' books, you have missed a real treat. This is the last in a series but even if you have not read the others you will still enjoy this book. Just strong, independent ladies of the Gilded age and such writing! Don't hesitate to begin the adventure with this series today.

A Match of Wits is the fourth book in Jen Turanos Ladies of Distinction series, coming after A Change of Fortune, A Most Peculiar Circumstance, and A Talent for Trouble. I have absolutely loved every single book in this series, and A Match of Wits is no exception! Jen always does a fantastic job of weaving together hilarious and adventurous tales with just the perfect amount of romance and Jesus, so I knew I would love this book from the beginning. I have yet to be disappointed with one of her novels, and am usually actually somehow taken by surprise when they continually get better and better.

Agatha Watson is such a wonderful character! She has so much passion for her writing and always telling the truth through the stories she composes, even though her pursuit of such stories usually lands her in far too many scrapes. That makes for continuously hilarious, and suspenseful, situations, which involve quite a few different people who have to come to her rescue. One of my favoritesother than Zayne of courseis Mr. Blackheart, her bodyguard. He was just so funny, even though he didnt try to be, and I loved watching him come around, from being irritated by Agathas escapades to actually considering her a friend. Which was a good decision for him because Agatha is the best type of person to have around.

Zayne Beckett irritated me a little bit at the beginning of this novel, because of the way he let himself go after his accident and the way things went down with Helena, but I had already loved him from the beginning, so I couldnt stay mad at him long. He is a wonderful man, although a little misguided when it comes to women, and does have good intentions at heart.

All in all, I really loved this book, and Im so glad Ive finally been able to finish this series, although I wish it didnt have to come to an end! Jen did a fantastic job of writing four amazing novels that were completely captivating from day one, and Im already looking forward to reading them again! I highly recommend this series, and I suggest you keep an eye out for Finding Margo, which releases in November, and Behind the Scenes, which releases in April!

Match of Wits is a great read when you need a relaxing break from the hecticness of the world. It is a funny, light read that keeps you entertained. There is a pig that does not want to be called a P-I-G, trouble around every corner and a romance included. Jen Turano is known for her quirky , fun stories and she does not disappoint. I continue to look forward to reading her work.

I recieved this book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion.
