The book is targeted toward Christians, but would be a good exercise for anyone getting married. The book facilitates discussions about a wide variety of issues from what you want to do when you have a days off, what kind of relationship you want with your children, to how you want your wedding to look and why.I think this book would be helpful for a lot of people and certainly helped me and helped relieve any reservations about the coming marriage.

As my fiance and I started our journey, we wanted a book that would help us with understanding our needs as a future husband and wife. This book really made us think about our own ideas and helped us bring it all together through scripture. I had thought I wanted everything printed out with wonderful instructions but this book, although it gives us instructions, it also has us use our own knowledge. It pulls out our ideals and personal desires as to what we long for in a mate as well as ourselves. Putting everything into perspective through truly looking into ourselves and prompting what our Heavenly Father has set up for us has really been a blessing. It brought us closer together and has re-established a firmer foundation for years to come. We are still learning and forming our foundation but I think that will continue for quite a while.

I have used this workbook for over 15 years, and find it very helpful. I highly recommend it.

This book is a great tool for Christian couples. My fiance and I have been going through it together in the months leading up to our marriage. It has started some very thought-provoking discussions as well as provided biblically sound advice. I whole heartedly recommend it to any engaged couple.
